Glass/Grass
This work is about the clash of two worlds – the wild and the man-made. I was inspired by this fragile balance between the chaotic vitality of nature and the strict lines of urban architecture. The skyscrapers here symbolize ambition, strength, and humanity's upward striving, while the foreground reminds us of our roots, of the earth where everything begins.
I want the viewer to feel the dissonance yet also the connection between these worlds. For the eye to glide over the dry grass and catch on the skies, as if nature and the city are engaged in a dialogue. Perhaps it will spark questions about the trace we leave behind.
The medium of photography and the muted tones were deliberately chosen – to capture this moment as a quiet reflection, not shouting, but inviting observation. This is not just an image; it’s a pause, an invitation to think about where we stand in this story.
